The test done here is not well administered. You could make a "sniffer" by connecting the ground clip in a loop back to the probe tip. Would work much better. Noise, Grounding, Ground-Loops, etc is all black magic anyway..No exact science to this. There are "best practices" which should be followed, however always be prepared to vary these procedures as needed...

HOW TO ACTIVIATE ACS 880 SAFE TORQUE OFF BETWEEN 2 DRIVES ?

In DTC, the reference setting is rpm... can this be altered to using torque as a reference setting? So instead of wanting the motor to drive at "1000 rpm", you tell the motor to run at "50 Nm". If this is possible, what parameter is this? I'm using an ABB drive ACS800 (01 0016 5). People have told me this "should" be possible but I see no settings for it in the firmware manual.
